My Hero Academia Season 1 Recap

E1-Izuku Midoriya Origin Midoriya defends a crying boy from Bakugo’s bullying and reflects on societal inequality. At Tatooin Station, heroes Death Arms and Backdraft manage chaos caused by a rampaging villain until Mt. Lady defeats him with her Canyon Cannon move. Despite being Quirkless, Midoriya is encouraged to pursue his dream of becoming a hero after witnessing All Might’s heroic intervention against a sludge villain. In a life-changing encounter, Midoriya refuses to let go of All Might despite the danger, leading to an unexpected turn of events that sets him on the path to becoming a hero. E2-What It Takes To Be A Hero Izuku Midoriya confronts All Might about becoming a hero without a Quirk and learns of All Might’s injury. The Sludge Villain attacks Bakugo in Tatooin Shopping District; heroes wait for someone with a suitable Quirk as Bakugo struggles to escape. Inspired by urgency, Izuku runs towards the villain, prompting All Might to transform and defeat the Sludge Villain with a Detroit Smash. All Might tells Izuku that dreams can become reality. E3-Roaring Muscles All Might offers Midoriya his Quirk “One For All,” explaining its nature and choosing him for his heroic actions. Midoriya accepts the offer and begins training under All Might’s guidance to prepare for the U.A. entrance exam. On the morning of the entrance exam, All Might confirms Midoriya as a suitable vessel by giving him a strand of his hair for starting the transfer process of One For All. During the exam orientation, Present Mic outlines the practical exam format and addresses examinees’ concerns about the challenges ahead. E4-Start Line Midoriya activates One For All to destroy a massive zero-pointer threatening Uraraka, sacrificing his legs and arm in the process. All Might reveals that Midoriya’s heroic act earned him 60 rescue points, allowing him to pass the exam despite scoring zero on practical tasks. All Might welcomes Midoriya as a hero-in-training at U.A., marking the end of his quirkless past. E5-What I Can Do For Now Aizawa reveals himself as Eraser Head by erasing Midoriya’s Quirk mid-throw, emphasizing the need for Midoriya to gain control over One For All. Aizawa restores Midoriya’s Quirk and gives him another turn to throw the ball, challenging him to demonstrate control over One For All. All Might observes Midoriya’s throw, noting that he minimized injury by focusing power only to his fingertip, showcasing Midoriya’s potential and determination. E6-Rage, You Damned Nerd Aizawa uses an expulsion threat to push Class 1-A to their limits, revealing it was a lie to unlock potential and noting Midoriya’s non-zero potential. Recovery Girl heals Midoriya’s finger but warns him of the dire consequences of repeated major injuries on his stamina. Uraraka introduces herself to Midoriya and Iida, reframing Bakugo’s insult “Deku” as encouragement, which Midoriya adopts. All Might distributes hero costumes based on students’ Quirk registrations and announces two-on-two combat training with Team A (Midoriya and Uraraka) against Team D (Bakugo and Iida). During the training, Bakugo ambushes Midoriya, who dodges by anticipating Bakugo’s attack pattern, declaring his “Deku” as a hero name. Bakugo ends the episode shaking with rage, expressing hatred for Midoriya’s courage to move forward despite fear. E7-Deku Vs Kacchan Deku uses his Hero Notebook to anticipate and counter Bakugo’s attacks during their intense indoor combat training. Flashbacks reveal young Midoriya saving a Quirkless Bakugo from drowning, highlighting their intertwined pasts. Uraraka finds the nuclear weapon but is intercepted by Iida, who strategically neutralizes her Quirk advantage. Deku finally uses his Quirk to create a shockwave that enables Uraraka to secure the weapon and win the battle for Team A. E8-Bakugo’S Start Line All Might rushes to see Midoriya after noticing his injuries, reflecting on his hesitation to stop the match for Midoriya’s feelings. Midoriya confronts Bakugo, confessing about borrowing All Might’s Quirk and vowing to make it his own. All Might counsels a defiant Bakugo outside, discussing pride and abilities before Bakugo vows to surpass him independently. E9-Yeah, Just Do Your Best, Iida! Class 1-A elects Midoriya as their representative after a unanimous vote, with Yaoyorozu as deputy. During a security breach caused by reporters at U.A., Iida calms the crowd from a high vantage point. After resolving the press intrusion, Midoriya nominates Iida as class rep, and classmates agree due to his leadership during the crisis. As villains enter the USJ, Aizawa prepares to confront them alone while instructing students to remain vigilant. E10-Encounter With The Unknown Villains attack U.A. High to lure All Might into a trap, prompting Midoriya, Asui and Mineta to fight back using their Quirks. Aizawa erases villains’ Quirks by charging alone into the crowd while ordering Thirteen to evacuate students and contact the school. In the Shipwreck Zone, Midoriya deduces that villains don’t know students’ Quirks as Asui was sent there, leading them to devise a plan to stop the villains. Using Delaware Smash, Midoriya creates a shockwave that sweeps villains into Mineta’s sticky balls, successfully clearing their first hurdle against the League of Villains. E11-Game Over Iida escapes to call for backup while Kurogiri distracts Thirteen and exits the fight. Shigaraki introduces Nomu, a bioengineered anti-Symbol of Peace, overpowering Aizawa despite his Erasure Quirk. Midoriya concludes that only four or five villains in USJ are truly dangerous after analyzing the situation. All Might arrives at USJ, transforming students’ terror into relief as he confronts Nomu. E12-All Might All Might arrives at USJ and confronts Shigaraki and his villains, rallying students to support him. Midoriya deduces that Might was nearing his limit due to overuse of power earlier. Bakugo identifies Kurogiri’s vulnerability, capturing him to prevent the warp gate attack on All Might. All Might pushes beyond his limits, delivering over 300 powerful strikes to Nomu, ultimately sending it flying out through USJ’s roof. E13-In Each Of Our Hearts Midoriya charges forward despite breaking his limbs, turning the tide of battle until reinforcements arrive. All Might hits his limit at USJ and Midoriya buys critical seconds to save him before pro heroes arrive and villains retreat. The League’s master identifies Midoriya as the reason All Might survived and plans a second attack targeting him. Play the my hero academia word game at Topamine
